Perlis Mountain Bike Club is your local cycling club in Northern Peninsular Malaysia, catering for cyclists who are interested in mountain biking and out-door activities.
The club was formed in 2004 and registered with the Registrar of Societies of Malaysia, although not one of the first MTB clubs in Malaysia we certainly were an early one in Perlis. We got together for rides but decided a club was limited if it just organised social runs. We all lived far apart with enough to ride on our own doorstep. What was needed to fuse local riders was a social event. The club aims to meet the variety of mountain biking fitness and leisure needs of our members. A mixture of recreational and competitive events and rides are catered for throughout the year. The club caters for all ages and abilities from experienced to novice riders.
Club rides cater for recreational riders as well as fit and skilled riders with an emphasis on fun with the exhilaration and enjoyment that is obtained when biking in the great outdoors.
